Cub Promise & Law
The Cub Promise
;
I promise that I will do my best,
to do my duty to God
and to the Queen,
to help other people
and to keep the Cub Scout Law.
In making their promise Cubs are reminded;
- to care for the world around us
- to share the good things you have
- to be friendly towards other people
- obey the laws of the land
- to look after the community; including keeping it clean
- to make the most of everything you do & have a go everything at Cubs
- to do a good turn everyday
- to do that extra little bit; not hust enough to get by
When making the promise Cubs make the Scout sign at shoulder height; this is the Scout Salute (made with the right hand with the middle three fingers).
The Cub Law;
Cub Scouts always do their best
think of others before themselves
and do a good turn every day.
Our moto;
Be prepared
Cubs should be prepared to have fun, help other people, make new friends and do their best.
