Code of Conduct
Beavers must follow the Beaver Promise & Law
Beavers must obey instructions from Leaders
Beavers must not answer back any Leaders or Adult helpers
Beavers must listen
Beavers must be polite to others
Beavers must wear their full uniform
Beavers must work as a team
Beavers must take part
Beavers must be prepared
Beavers must help & be kind to others
Beavers must tell Leaders if they are having problems
Beavers must sit still & nicely during circle time
Beavers must be honest
Beavers must say sorry if they hurt somebody
Beavers must help tidy away
Beavers must not fight
Beavers must not swear or say hurtful things to others
Beavers must not shout
Beavers must not run (unless in a game)
Beavers must not climb on the window sills
All Beavers must HAVE FUN!
In any event that a Beaver does not follow the Beaver code, the following consequences will be applied:
Stage 1 Time-Out chair.
Stage 2 Yellow Card (to take home), this will be given if the Beaver is sent 3 times to the Time-Out chair or as an immediate warning at Leader discretion in the case of more serious issues.
Stage 3 Red Card, this will be given if the Beaver is given 3 yellow cards and will result in the Beaver missing the following week.
Stage 4 If three red cards are given (in a year from September) the Beaver will be asked to leave the colony.
