Investments

Cubs are officially invested into the group after attending for 3 or 4 weekly meetings and once the young person has their full uniform. Parents are always welcome to attend the investment ceremony which normally takes place at the end of a pack meeting. Details of when investments take place are included on the Cub Programme each term, this can be found in the Cubs Download section.

The investment ceremony involves the young person confirming that they would like to become a Cub Scout, then reciting their Cub Promise whilst making the Scout sign;

"I promise that I will do my best,

to do my duty to God

and to the Queen,

to help other people

and to keep the Cub Scout Law."

the young person will then turn to the group making the Scout sign and be welcomed to their pack.
