Athlete's Night 1 - 25-05-2010
The Cubs completed their first athlete's night on the 25th May. As part of the evening they had to take part in the following activities;
- 50m Sprint
- 50m Skipping
- Shuttle runs - 6 x 10m
- Throwing a ball
- Long jump
- Sargent (standing) jump
All the Cubs tried their hardest and each activity earned them points based on their performance. Where more than 8 points were earned from their 4 best activities they achieved their athlete's badge.
All the Cubs have the chance to improve on their first performance to gain their athlete's badge if unsuccessful first time. Those thathave already gained there badge can try to improve their scores and earn their athlete's plus badge as well.
Of course both evenings also work towards their Fitness Challenge badge.
